AC30406 Level 3 Diploma in Body Massage (includes body massage, anatomy, physiology & pathologies, principles & practices and business practice) £1,1175.00 includes VTCT Registration Fee. Further costs of Uniform Approximately £50 and Kit Approximately £40. This is a vocational qualification and includes all the required elements to work effectively as a massage therapist including the mandatory units, knowledge and understanding the principles and practices of complementary therapies and business practice, anatomy, physiology and pathology for complementary therapies. You will also develop your understanding and practical skills to competently provide massage services. Throughout this qualification you will develop your knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology, health and safety, and client care. You will develop a range of technical skills enabling you to provide massage treatments using a variety of different techniques. You will also develop interpersonal skills that will assist you to communicate effectively with clients. This will give you the opportunity to practice as self employed massage therapist or gain employment as a massage therapist. You will be guided to create a portfolio of evidence, case studies, logs, business project, principles & practices tasks, 2 externally set exams in Anatomy & Physiology to achieve 70% or over, and 3 practical assessments. Requirements of a Level 2 or equivalent in your learning which will be discussed in interview. Variety of teaching and learning methods to ensure your needs as a learner are met. Classes are available in a variety of formats, hours and days to suit your individual schedule. This qualification will enable you to access insurance and membership of professional bodies. Courses will be run throughout the year at times/days to suit the learners, an interview, completed enrolment form and deposit will be required to secure your place.
