Accredited Courses in Complementary Therapy
A range of accredited courses by the Vocational Training Charity Trust VTCT Awarding Body known and recognised worldwide. These professional qualifications are respected and recognised within the industry. You will be able to join a professional membership organisation such as the FHT with insurance guaranteed. VTCT has been operating since 1962 and their qualifications are set by the National Occupational Standards.
We provide a safe, supportive learning environment where a friendly approach by experienced and skilled teachers who are passionate about sharing their knowledge will enable you to develop, grow and become a great therapist. The maximum class size of six learners along with a variety of teaching and learning methods will ensure that all your needs as an individual learner are met. Classes are available in a variety of formats, hours and days set over the year to suit your individual schedule. This can be discussed at interview.

Teaching & Learning
The variety of teaching and learning methods will include online lessons, workbooks, learner participation, case studies and one to one tutorials. You will have access to online materials and videos to reinforce your learning. This variety of teaching and learning will support you to complete a portfolio of evidence, covering criteria to successfully perform competent practical and online/theory assessments to demonstrate competence in your chosen skill. This will enable you to gain employment within the industry or self-employment and access insurance to practice through FHT.

Centre Requirements
CTTC has high professional standards for its staff and learners, therefore, you are expected to purchase a uniform and kit. The preferred uniform is navy or black trousers, therapist tunic and closed in black shoes. You will need your personal treatment kit as it is not hygienic or acceptable to share. The centre will provide you with a portfolio and assessment book in order that you may complete the criteria to qualify in your chosen qualification. The enrolment form, interview and payment must be completed before commencement on your chosen course. You must disclose any health issues including allergies for your own safety. All learners will have a one to one interview where any issues can be discussed. You can book an interview or gain further information by ringing 0772 981 6604. Internal & External Quality Assurance
​
Quality checks will be made throughout the year to maintain quality and assurance which you will be required to attend. Exams will be booked and you will be informed in advance to sit these. Additional costs will be charged if further tuition/support is needed. Workbooks, access to videos, student plan to suit needs of learner, flexibility to learn will be available to each learner. A learner contract will need to be agreed and signed by both parties.
