Aftercare

After enjoying your treatment, to further benefit the effects of your therapy the following tips are suggested:

*  The healing process is a normal and positive sign that the body is responding to treatment.  Symptoms may worsen for a short while before they improve.  You may feel tired, ache, develop a cold or headache but this is nothing to worry about it is just your body responding to treatment. You may notice your sleep is affected and you sleep more or less, again this is nothing to worry about and is only temporary.  These reactions will clear within 24-48 hours.  You must welcome these effects as they are positive - it shows the body is in the process of cleansing and healing.  Any worries please ring us.

*  You may find you need to pass urine more frequently and this is normal as the body is flushing out the unwanted toxins, everything is speeded up.

*  Drink plenty of water to aid with the cleansing process of eliminating toxins & waste.

*  Rest as much as you can directly after the treatment to enhance the effects of the treatment and help with the healing process.

*  You may need a few treatments for the benefits to be noticed as it may take time for energy flow to be balanced and altered.  (CTTC would recommend at least 6 treatments – one per week and then one per fortnight, then one per month to keep up the balance – please ask what will suit you best).  Some people respond quicker than others, we are all unique.  If you have had a condition for a long time it may take longer for the body to respond.

*  Believe in your treatment it will help you.  Be ready for change.

*  Help yourself further by relaxing perhaps by taking a hot bath, reading a book or magazine, you could even do a self massage to your hands - ask which reflex to massage.  You may also wish to try breathing techniques or meditation.

*  Try to reduce your intake of caffeine, sugar, salt, alcohol & smoking.

*  Avoid sunbathing and sunbeds for 24 hours.

*  Eat a healthy balanced diet and exercise regularly – a walk is great!

*  On a positive note your circulation, lymphatic system and digestion may be stimulated, along with other systems of your body, you may find medication may be reduced but this will need to be checked with your doctor, stress, aches and pains may be relieved, you may have more energy and a more positive outlook on life.

*  Retail – ask what products will further benefit you after your treatment for use at home.

*  Remember to rebook for your next appointment and if you have any worries or concerns, please ring CTTC on 0772 982 6604.  You may also enjoy the Crystal Reiki Treatment, aromatherapy massage, hot stone massage – please see our further therapies we offer.
