AC30403 Level 3 Diploma in Complementary Therapies (includes body massage, aromatherapy, reflexology, anatomy, physiology & pathologies, principles & practices and business practice) £2,500 which includes VTCT Registration Fee. Additional costs of Uniform Approximately £50 and Kit Approximately £120 plus VAT. The content of this qualification is comprised of all the required elements to work effectively as a complementary therapist: anatomy, physiology and pathology, principles and practice of complementary therapies including health and safety, client care, client consultation; business principles, massage, aromatherapy and reflexology. The units which contain these areas are all mandatory. You will also develop your understanding and practical skills to competently provide massage, aromatherapy services and reflexology treatments. In the massage unit you will learn a variety of massage techniques, set up, massage products (mediums) to suit the needs of the client. In Aromatherapy you will use natural oils extracted from plants, flowers, fruits and trees to support a range of conditions such as stress, anxiety, digestive issues. Blends are created to suit the needs of the client in a variety of techniques such as massage, inhalation with over 30 oils to select from. In reflexology you will learn a form of massage to the hands and feet to help the body to heal itself. Deeply relaxing with the theory that different points/zones of the feet and hands link to the rest of the body. Principles & practices will cover health & safety and histories of therapies. Business practice will cover knowledge and research into setting up your own business. Anatomy, physiology and pathologies will provide you with the knowledge to provide competent treatments to suit and understand your client. You will create a portfolio of evidence in workbooks, case studies, logs. You will sit 2 externally set exams in Anatomy & Physiology to achieve 70% or over, you will also perform 3 competent practical assessments for each therapy of massage, aromatherapy and reflexology when you are ready. This diploma will give you the knowledge and skills to gain employment as a complementary therapist or opportunity to practice as self-employed complementary therapist.
